Extend
the Life of your Exterior Paint
To
extend the life of your paint job: Never start an exterior
painting project without proper preparation, such as
thorough cleaning of the surface, removal of old peeling
paint and use of primer if required. An oil based (alkyd)
primer is generally preferred for exterior surfaces.
Proper preparation will prevent the need to repaint right
away.
