Replacing a Screen
Mosquitoes are slowly but
surely invading your home through a damaged screen. You know
that it’s time for something to be done, you’re reminded
every time you notice the hole, but you always find an
excuse to put it off. And yet, it will take but a few
minutes of your time to rid your home of the pesky intruders
once and for all. Go ahead! There’s no reason to put it off
any longer – you can make it happen!
A
more pleasing screen
To give uniform colour to a screen without replacing it,
some recommend enamel rust paint diluted with a compatible
thinner. Apply in very light layers with a paint gun, making
sure to mask frames, fixtures, etc.
Changing screens without tools
If you don't have the special tool to quickly replace the
rubber tubing around a screen, use a tape covered pizza
roller, a pulley, an old vinyl record or a CD. |
