Installing a recessed medicine
cabinet
If your bathroom lacks storage
space, installing a medicine cabinet will certainly remedy
the situation. There are two types to choose from: recessed
medicine cabinets or a surface mount.
Newspaper and vinegar for windows
To efficiently clean your
mirrors and windows, use newsprint and a mixture of vinegar
and water. Your windows will shine without a trace of paper
fibre or residue.
Flush fitting without damage
When flush fitting a counter or
any other piece or appliance in the kitchen or the bathroom,
place stratified sheets, such as melamine, along the two
side surfaces. The new counter will easily slide into its
intended space between the thin sheets which will protect
the wood or plasterboard surfaces.
Clean ceramic and caulked joints
To keep ceramic tiles and
caulked joints around the bathtub clean and stain-free, wash
them thoroughly with a solution of chlorine bleach diluted
in water. The solution will not only clean, but will make
them more resistant to stains. |
